The forms on this site do not submit to a server
The contact form, the bulk order form and the document request form have no backend. When you press the button they assemble your answers into an email and hand it to your own mail application, with the address and the subject line filled in. Nothing is transmitted from this page, nothing is stored on a server here, and Lactaz receives nothing at all until you press send yourself.
That means you can see exactly what is being sent before it is sent — it is sitting in your drafts. If your mail application does not open, the page shows you the same text to copy.
What ends up in that email
Whatever you typed. Depending on the form that is your name, your email address, your company, a phone number if you gave one, the grade, pack size, volume or destination you named, and your message. If you arrived from the bag, the products in it are listed as well. It goes to Info@lactaz.com and is read by the people who answer that inbox, so they can answer you.
You can edit or delete any of it in your mail application before sending, and you can simply not use the form — +1 (866) 365-2545,9 AM – 5 PM, works too.
What stays in your browser
This site sets no cookies. It keeps three things in your browser's own storage, and none of them is transmitted anywhere. Clearing your site data removes all three.
| Key | Store | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| lactaz.cart.v1 | localStorage | The products and pack sizes in your bag, and how many of each. |
| lactaz.theme | localStorage | Whether you asked for the light or the dark rendering of the site. |
| lactaz.bond | sessionStorage | A single flag so the opening animation draws once per visit rather than on every page. |
Payment
Where online payment is enabled on this site, checkout is handled by Stripe. You are taken to Stripe's own payment page and your card details are entered there. Card numbers never reach this website and Lactaz never sees them. Stripe processes that payment data as an independent processor under its own terms and privacy notice.
The site itself sends Stripe only what an order needs: the products, the quantities and the prices, which are re-read from the catalogue on the server rather than taken from your browser. Stripe's own checkout page then collects a shipping address and a phone number from you, and passes them back to Lactaz so the order can be dispatched. Where checkout is not enabled, there is no payment step at all — an order becomes an email, like everything else here.
Third parties, and the one exception
There is no analytics script on this site, no advertising pixel, no social widget, no chat widget and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Fonts are served from this site, not from a font network.
One exception: the map on the contact page is a Google Maps embed, and it loads nothing until you click the button that loads it. If you never click, Google is never contacted.
Server logs
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages can record ordinary request information — an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested. What the host retains and for how long depends on the hosting arrangement, which is one of the things below that is not settled yet.
Asking for a copy, a correction or a deletion
Write to Info@lactaz.com and say what you want done. Because the only personal data Lactaz holds from this site is the email you sent it, a deletion request is a request to delete that correspondence.
Not settled yet
These require an answer from Lactaz before this page can be called a policy. They are listed rather than invented.
