Circularity
Nothing from the cheese vat goes to waste.
Cheese production leaves whey protein and lactic acid behind. Lactaz ferments those byproducts into Bio Gen Active®, a health- and environmentally-optimised substrate, and formulates from there: degreasers, rust removers, descalers and skin care. The byproduct is repurposed for practical use instead of being disposed of.

Nordic Ecolabel

Dishwashing Detergent · One product
Carried over from the Dishwashing Detergent product copy: "Easily biodegradable and Nordic Ecolabel-certified." This claim covers that one product. It does not extend to the rest of the range.
The Nordic Ecolabel claim is quoted from the Dishwashing Detergent product copy and is attributed to that product alone. We have not seen a licence number published for it, so we do not print one.

Carried over from our own copy: we strive to meet the high environmental criteria set by Ecolabelling Sweden (Nordic Swan Ecolabel and EU Ecolabel) and by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (Good Environmental Choice). Striving is not holding. Until a licence is issued, this page says so.
Formulation principles
What the formulations are built to do.
- 100% natural components
- Our products are crafted using 100% natural components, with a significant focus on upcycled materials.
- Upcycled from dairy byproducts
- Whey protein and lactic acid, byproducts primarily derived from cheese production, are fermented into Bio Gen Active® rather than treated as waste. This minimises waste and promotes a circular economy.
- Solvent-free where we say so
- The food-grade degreaser and the all-purpose degreaser are published as solvent-free. Where a grade is not described that way, we do not imply it.
- Non-corrosive where we say so
- The pH-neutral rust remover is published as non-corrosive to most materials including carbon steel, which is why it can circulate for 12 to 48 hours. Material compatibility is a per-grade figure, not a range-wide claim.
Every per-grade figure — pH, dilution ratio, CIP window and material note — is published for all 14 grades on thespec ledger.
What we do not claim
The absences are deliberate.
We publish no performance test data, because we have not published any. We publish no customer names or testimonials. Where a pH, a dilution ratio or a compatibility figure is not published for a grade, this site says "Not published" rather than estimating one. Nothing on this site is a test result we have not run.
