Terms of sale
Prices, currency and what a price covers
Every price on this site is in Canadian dollars and is the price of the goods. Shipping, duties and taxes are handled separately and are not settled on this page — seeshipping & returns. Prices can change; the price that applies is the one confirmed on your order.
Prices are read from the catalogue on the server at checkout, not from your browser, so a price altered in a browser is simply ignored.
When an order becomes an order
Adding something to the bag, or completing a payment, is your offer to buy. The order is accepted when Lactaz confirms it. If we cannot supply something — it went out of stock between your click and our picking, or it cannot travel to your destination in that pack size — we will tell you and we will not keep money for goods we are not sending.
Volume, drums and pallets
25 L drums and pallet quantities are quoted, not checked out. A quote states its own price, its own lead time and its own terms, and those govern that order. Ask on the bulk order page.
What the figures on this site mean
The site publishes 14 grades with their pH, dilution ratio, circulation temperature and circulation time. Those are the figures Lactaz publishes about its own products. Where a figure is not published, the site saysNot published rather than estimating one, and where a figure covers a whole product range rather than one grade it is marked as a range figure. None of it is a test result, a performance claim or a guarantee of a result on your equipment.
A safety data sheet is issued per grade, per size and per destination market on request. The sheet current on the day you order is the authority, not this website.Request the current revision.
Intended use, and what is yours to judge
These are industrial and professional cleaning concentrates, plus a skin-care range. They are sold for the uses Lactaz describes for each grade, at the dilution published for it.
Whether a given grade suits your equipment, your soil, your water and your process is your judgement to make, and it is worth making on a small area first. We publish the material notes we have — copper, carbon steel, aluminium — but we have not seen your plant. Ask us before you commit a circuit to something: that is what the phone number is for.
Using a product other than as described — undiluted where dilution is published, mixed with another manufacturer's chemistry, or decanted out of its labelled container — is outside anything Lactaz can stand behind. The handling notes are onshipping & returns.
Stock, and how fresh it is
Availability on this site is generated when the site is built, not read live from a warehouse system. Of 62 pack sizes in the catalogue,26 were out of stock at the last build. Out-of-stock items are shown struck through rather than hidden, so you can see the whole range and ask about a restock. If something sells out between builds we will tell you rather than hold the order silently.
The site itself
The Lactaz name, the Bio Gen Active® mark, the product copy and the photography on this site belong to Lactaz. The published specification figures exist to be used — quote them, put them in a comparison, take the price list CSV into a spreadsheet. That is what they are for.
Open until Lactaz decides them
